Check your MetaTrader 5 setup in five minutes
The Jireh Profits Setup Check confirms that MetaTrader 5 is installed, connected and ready to run an Expert Advisor. It places no trades and runs on demo accounts only.

Setup Check
A small MetaTrader 5 program (an Expert Advisor, or EA). When you add it to a chart, a checklist appears and each line turns green as it passes:
- Connected to your broker
- Attached to the chart
- Algo Trading button switched on
- Allowed to run on this chart
- EURUSD prices coming in
It never places an order or opens a position. On a real-money account it refuses to start, on purpose. This copy works until November 24, 2026; the date also shows on the chart.
Check the file is genuine
Open PowerShell from the Start menu and run Get-FileHash "C:\path\to\Jireh-Profits-Setup-Check.ex5" -Algorithm SHA256 with your own path. The result must match exactly:

How to run it
- Open MetaTrader 5 and sign in to a demo account (File, then Login to Trade Account).
- Click File, then Open Data Folder. Open MQL5, then Experts. Make a folder named JirehProfits there (capital J, capital P, no space) if you don't have one yet, open it and paste the downloaded file into MQL5\Experts\JirehProfits, the same folder your setup guide uses.
- Back in MetaTrader 5, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh. The Setup Check is listed under Expert Advisors, then JirehProfits.
- In Market Watch, right-click EURUSD, choose Chart Window, then click H1 in the toolbar.
- Make sure the Algo Trading button at the top is on (green). Drag the Setup Check onto the chart, tick Allow Algo Trading on the Common tab, and click OK.
- Wait for the last line to read RESULT: PASS - your install is ready. If a line stays red, it tells you what to fix.
